During this visit of the icon to our Seminary, we celebrated the Eucharist and carried out the consecration of the work of protecting the civilization of life and love in the hands of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The celebration was presided over by the Spiritual Director, Fr. Juan Salvador, and concelebrated by the Vice-Rector, Fr. Rafael Enrique.
Testimony of Fr. Rafael:
“When I received the icon in our house of formation, the Redemptoris Mater Seminary, I felt very loved by the Virgin Mary. During the 2016 WYD in Krakow, I was able to visit the Shrine in Czestochowa. However, now it is the Virgin of Czestochowa who visits me. I am a fruit of the civilization of life and love. My parents received from the Church the teaching to collaborate with God in living their marriage by being open to life. And thanks to their generosity, I am the second of the five children that God has given them. We are part of the Neocatechumenal Way, a charism of the Church, through which, little by little, we rediscover the riches of our Christian being.”
