Our Blessed Mother in the Czestochowa Icon arrived in Munich on the first day of the pilgrimage through Germany (October 24) and initially visited the church of St. Joseph, belonging to the Polish Mission. The visit schedule for the German region was so full that the Polish faithful did not receive the Icon until 11:00 pm.

The representatives of the German pro-life organizations just did not make it for the celebration of the Eucharist in St. Gallen on the Swiss side of the border, even though they greatly desired to be there. It began with a breakdown of their car engine, which simply just "did not start." Frustrated, they had to rent the right type of vehicle which they used to drive directly to the cathedral in city of Constance (Ger. Konstanz).

On Wednesday, October 24, the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa began "Her" visit in Germany. The transfer of the Icon from the pro-life organization Human Life International – Switzerland was completed by Alexandra Wind in the Cathedral Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Konstanz.

The collegiate church St. Gallus and St. Otmar was the last prayer stop in Switzerland. It was a very quiet morning. Here we should say goodbye to the icon together with our German friends Georg Fleischmann and Wolfgang Hering. Not long before 8 o’clock Georg Fleischmann called to tell me they won’t make it to St. Gallen because of a problem with the car.

Monday, 22. October 2012. Our Lady of Jasna Gora spent the morning in Adliswil in the Chapel of Divine Mercy of Radio Maria. In the sermon pastor Thomas Rellstab talked about the dignity of life and that there are many different ways to harm the dignity of a human being.
In the afternoon, we went to a convent which also asked us if the icon could come to them, however a longer time before the icon was brought on Swiss ground.
